All applications for The Foray Hurst Firm United Voices Scholarship should be submitted no later thanApril 1, 2026.

On college campuses, there is strength in numbers. History has shown us that students who join together for a worthy cause accomplish great things.

At The Foray Hurst Firm, we recognize the value of Black Student Unions in higher education.

We have started the United Voices Scholarship to celebrate Black students supporting each other on campus. This $1,000 award can be used to cover various educational expenses, including tuition, room and board, and class materials. Applications are due by April 1, 2026.

Eligibility
Requirements

All students applying for the United Voices Scholarship must meet the following requirements:

  • You must be an active member of the Black Student Union, the African Student Union, or one of the National Panhellenic “Divine 9” Organizations.
  • You must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • You must be enrolled or planning to enroll in an undergraduate or graduate program within the United States for the Spring 2026 semester.
  • You must be at least 17 years old.
  • You must be a citizen of the United States.

Submitting an Application

Your submission should be attached as a Google Drive link or a YouTube video. Additionally, we require that all applicants provide proof of enrollment at an accredited school, proof of achieved GPA, and a professional headshot that we can share in our future winner announcements.

All materials must be submitted prior to 11:59 PM on 04/01/2026.

We ask that all applicants submit a video application between one to two minutes in length responding to the following prompt: What have you gained from joining a Black student union? What contributions have you made to your student union?

How Will Applications
Be Evaluated?

Your application will be judged based on the following criteria:

  • Do you clearly answer both questions asked by the prompt?
  • Is your response well thought-out and focused?
  • Do you explain what meaningful contributions you have made to your student union?

Approximately one month after the deadline, we will reach out to the winner of the United Voices Scholarship via email. Please make sure to check your inbox regularly to ensure that you do not miss our correspondence.
